When can I check in and when do I have to leave?
Your apartment is ready from 3 pm on the day of arrival. On the day of departure we ask you to vacate it by 10 am.
Is there parking?
Free parking is available at the house.
Is there a sauna in the house?
Our small spa area has a sauna, an infrared cabin, a shower and a small relaxation area.
What is the minimum number of nights?
The minimum stay is three nights, with a surcharge of ten percent. In winter, from 20 December to 11 April, bookings are Saturday to Saturday only.
Do the rates include the tourist tax and the cleaning fee?
Prices are per apartment and night and do not include the tourist tax or the final cleaning fee.
How much is the tourist tax in Sölden?
The tourist tax in Sölden is 5.00 euros per person per day. Children under 15 do not pay tourist tax.
How much is the final cleaning fee?
The final cleaning fee is between 50 and 120 euros depending on the apartment, charged per apartment.
Can I bring my dog?
Pets are welcome at Haus Kristiania on request. A surcharge of 25 euros per day applies.
How many guests do the apartments sleep?
Kristiania has seven comfortable non smoking apartments in five sizes. The Söldenkogel is around 27 square metres for one to two people, the Gaislachkogel around 67 square metres for five to seven.
Is the kitchen fully equipped?
Every apartment has an equipped kitchen with a ceramic hob, a dishwasher, a fridge with freezer compartment, coffee machine, kettle, cookware, crockery and cutlery. The Söldenkogel has a two ring hob, the other six apartments a four ring hob. Depending on the apartment there is also a microwave.
Are bed linen and towels included?
Beds are made up. Hand towels, bath towels and a hair dryer are provided in every apartment.

Can I arrive earlier?
Subject to availability we can let you into your apartment earlier.
Until when can I cancel free of charge?
Cancellation is free from four months before arrival. After that we charge 40, 70 or 90 percent depending on how close to arrival, and 100 percent for a no-show.
Is there wifi and does it cost anything?
Free wifi is available in all apartments, along with a television.
Can I do laundry?
There is a washing machine in the house which can be used for a small fee.
Are a cot and a high chair available?
A high chair and a cot are available on request.
Can I smoke in the apartments?
Kristiania offers seven comfortable non smoking apartments.
Where can I leave my ski equipment?
The house has a ski room with a boot dryer.
What is nearby for relaxation?
The Freizeit Arena is just a few steps from the house, with an indoor pool and a sauna world. The Aqua Dome thermal spa in Längenfeld is twenty minutes away.
Do the apartments have a balcony?
You can end an active day on one of our balconies in the evening sun. Brunnenkogel, Nederkogel, Grieskogel and Gaislachkogel have a balcony or a terrace.
Where exactly is Haus Kristiania?
Haus Kristiania is in the centre of Sölden, immediately next to the Freizeit Arena and only a few minutes' walk from the Giggijochbahn and the centre, yet away from the noise of the main road.
How do I find the house by car?
In Sölden follow the main road and take exit F2 on the left, then cross the bridge. Turn right immediately before the Freizeit Arena, and directly after Hotel Birkenhof take the small side street on the left.

When is the ski season in Sölden?
Thanks to the glacier, skiing and snowboarding are possible from mid October through to early May. The season opens at the end of October with the FIS Ski World Cup at the Rettenbach glacier.
How big is the Sölden ski area?
With 31 lifts and 144 kilometres of pistes of all levels, Sölden is one of the most snow sure ski areas in Austria.
What is the Superskipass?
The Superskipass is valid from three days in all Ötztal ski areas, namely Sölden, Obergurgl-Hochgurgl, Hochoetz-Kühtai, Niederthai, Gries and Vent, on a single pass.
Do guests get a discount at the ski school?
Guests at Haus Kristiania receive a 15 percent discount at Schischule Vacancia, where ski courses, private lessons, ski and snowboard rental and the ski pass are all available in one place in the centre of Sölden. Groups are limited to a maximum of eight participants.
What is there to do in Sölden besides skiing?
Away from the slopes Sölden has a toboggan run and an ice rink, and there are two small cross country trails close to the centre.
What is the Ötztal Inside Summer Card and is it included?
The Ötztal Inside Summer Card is included in the price from early June to early October for the duration of your stay, excluding the day of arrival. It covers free travel on the mountain lifts and public transport, the AREA 47 Water Area and free bike rental.
Where can I rent bikes in Sölden?
Full downhill equipment including bike, helmet and protection can be rented from sports shops in Sölden. The mountain lifts take you up to the trails of the Bike Republic.
Is Sölden worth visiting in summer?
In the Ötztal, the longest side valley in Tyrol, more than sixty peaks rise above three thousand metres. Countless hiking trails, climbing routes, mountain bike and single trails and a cycle path through the valley make the choice hard to match.
