Die Ötztaler Alpen über Sölden im Sommer

Summer in Sölden

Experience the power of the Ötztal Alps at close range. The Ötztal is the longest side valley in Tyrol, and more than sixty of its peaks rise above three thousand metres. Countless hiking trails, climbing routes, mountain bike and single trails and a cycle path through the valley make the choice hard to match. Crystal clear air, beautiful mountain lakes and many waterfalls let you feel how singular these mountains are.

Ötztal Inside Summer Card

The Ötztal Inside Summer Card gives you the highlights of the valley. From early June to early October you travel free on the mountain lifts and on public transport. Join a guided hike or explore the valley on a mountain bike tour with a rental bike.

Afterwards you can relax in one of the open air pools or bathing lakes, in the Freizeit Arena or in the Aqua Dome thermal spa in Längenfeld. For action there is AREA 47, which like so many services is included in the card. After a visit to the Ötzi village, the bird of prey park or one of the museums, you can round off the day with a game of minigolf or in the fun park.

For our guests the Ötztal Inside Summer Card is included for the duration of the stay, excluding the day of arrival.

In summer the Vacancia ski school runs high alpine tours, via ferratas and guided tours, see the Vacancia summer programme.

Biking

The Ötztal offers every cyclist the right mix of nature and sport, whether you ride mountain bike, all mountain, enduro, road or e-bike. New are the many options for e-hiking, the combination of e-biking and walking.

The Bike Republic in Soelden has established itself as a name of its own. With the mountain lifts taking you up, the trails are easy to reach and you can save your energy for the descent. Beginners and experts both find their lines. To prepare for the single trails above two thousand metres, the pump track opposite the Gaislachkogelbahn is the ideal practice ground. Full downhill equipment including bike, helmet and protection can be rented from sports shops in Soelden.
