Electric Mountain Festival
At a glance
The Electric Mountain Festival is a multi-day electronic music festival in the Sölden ski area. The main stage stands at Giggijoch at around 2,300 metres and is used on two main days, with doors at eleven, the line-up starting around one and the last set around seven. Further stages are spread across the ski area, and the evening programme continues in bars in the village. The festival takes place in April, from 13 to 18 April in 2026 and from 12 to 17 April in 2027.
The appeal is the combination: skiing in the morning, the stage in the afternoon, both on the same mountain. The main stage at Giggijoch is reached from the piste and the audience stands in ski boots in the snow. Because the festival falls in April, it is usually warm enough for that.
You need a valid ski pass alongside the festival ticket, because the way to Giggijoch runs through the ski area. Ticketing changes every year, so the organiser's site is what counts.
From Haus Kristiania it is a few minutes on foot to the Giggijoch lift, which is the one that leads to the main stage. You get back without a car in the evening because the after-show venues are in the village. Festival week books out early with us.
