Fest am Berg
At a glance
Fest am Berg is a mountain festival at the middle station of the Gaislachkogl lift in Sölden, run by Bergbahnen Sölden. It takes place on the first weekend in August and starts at ten in the morning. It is set up as a festival for young and old with live music and needs no sporting ability. The middle station is reached by the Gaislachkogl lift, whose base station is at Dorfstraße 115. The last confirmed edition was on 2 August 2026.
It is the simplest of the seven dates: ride up, stay up, listen to music, eat, ride back down. No advance ticket, no registration, no equipment. For families with small children it is the one occasion on this list that works with no preparation at all.
The lift company says little about the detailed programme, which is usually settled shortly beforehand. What stays the same is the place and the time.
One note in our own interest: at the time of writing, no date has been published for 2027. If that is your reason for coming, ask us: we usually know the village dates before they are announced.
